Wisdom 101: “Learning From Our Mistakes”

The Sermon: Proverbs 9 : 8 – 12

(8) Do not correct a scoffer, lest he hate you; Rebuke a wise man,and he will love you. (9) Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be still wiser; Teach a just man,and he will increase in learning. (10) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (11) For by me your days will be multiplied, and years of life will be added to you. (12) If you are wise, you are wise for yourself; And if you scoff you will bear it alone.

C: To Him be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

C: I will say it again: Rejoice! Alleluia.

Jesus’ leadership is worth more than anything in the world.

The Apostles Creed

I believe in God the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; The holy Christian church, the communion of saints; The forgiveness of sins; The resurrection of the body; And the life everlasting. Amen.
