For Pre-Service Reading – Psalm 100 (P 35 In Front Of Supplement)

(10:30) Church Choir: “All Things Bright And Beautiful” Director: Cathy Augustin Accompanist: Heather Schierenbeck

(Refrain)All things bright and beautiful, All creatures great and small, All things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all….. Each little flower that opens, each little bird that sings, He made their glowing colors, He made their tiny wings (Refrain). The purple headed mountain, the river running by, the sunset and the morning that brightens up the sky; The cold wind in the winter, the pleasant summer sun, the ripe fruits in the garden, He made them every one (Refrain). He gave us eyes to see them, and lips that we might tell How great is God almighty, Who has made all things well. (Refrain)

Hymn 743 (Supplement) –“Immortal, Invisible,God Only Wise”

The Liturgy …………………… Worship Supplement (Pages 12-13)

The Responsive Reading Of Psalm 19: 1-6

P: The heavens declare the glory of God; The skies proclaim the work of His hands.
C: Day after day they pour forth speech; Night after night they display knowledge.

P: There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.
C: Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the end of the world.

P: In the heavens He has pitched a tent for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his race.
C: It rises from the one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; Nothing is hidden from its heat.

(Dr. David Menton)

Hymn 744 (V 1-2) Supplement – “How Great Thou Art”

The Responsive Reading Of Psalm 19: 7-14

P: The Word of the Lord is perfect, reviving the soul. The testimonies of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
C: The statutes of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.

P: The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The judgments of the Lord are sure and altogether righteous.
C: They are much more precious and to be desired than gold and sweeter than honey from the honeycomb.

P: By them is Your servant warned; In keeping them there is great reward.
C: Who can understand his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep Your servant also from willful sins; May they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression.

All: May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Our Prayers And the Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven. Hallowed by Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever and ever. Amen.
