Hymn –“Easter For Us” (Melody Hymn 193 – TLH)
(Written By The Christian Day School 7-8 Graders)
1. For our sake our Savior died – Sins forgiv’n, joy far and wide;
For this now we give Him praise Till the end of all our days.
2. Christ has risen from the dead To fulfill what prophets said;
For this now we give Him praise, Give Him glory all our days.
3. Early earthquake Easter Day, Guards in fear shook in their place,
Death and grave could not contain Him Who over all things reigns.
4. Hark! The Lord is ris’n today, Women found stone rolled away;
Jesus was not in the grave, Hark, the news the angel gave.
5. He has risen from the grave; Now great gifts to us He gave –
Vict’ry o’er our enemies, Life for all eternity.
6. In great love His life he gave, Now He’s risen from the grave.
Jesus’ saving work now done, We by faith the vict’ry won.
7. Jesus Christ is ris’n, Rejoice! Praise Him with our heart and voice.
Alleluia! Jesus lives! Alleluia! Heaven gives!

The Offering Of Faith-Filled And Grateful Hearts
The Pre-Communion Prayer [TLH Page 118]
O God, who desirest not the death of a sinner, but rather that he turn from his evil way and live, I come to Thee although I have sinned and deserve only Thy wrath. But I flee to Thy mercy in Christ Jesus, my Lord, who gave His body and His blood for my redemption. Lord, grant that I may ever thus believe and never waver. Grant that in such faith I may worthily go to Thine altar to receive the very body and the true blood which Thy Son has given for my salvation, that I may duly praise, laud, and honor Thy love and Thy mercy all the days of my life. Hear me for the sake of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, my Redeemer and Savior. Amen.

(Because God’s Word presents the reception of this Sacrament as a most intimate expression of spiritual and confessional unity, we ask that only those who have publicly professed such oneness of faith and belief with us by membership at Berea or another CLC church come forward. Please speak with pastor if you are seeking a church home or have any questions.)
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, Who art in heaven. Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
Benediction ♫ Amen, Amen, Amen
