Lord, Open Our Eyes to See Your Unseen Blessings… And Give Thanks!

The Sermon: 2 Kings 6: 15-18 And when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army surrounding the city with horses and chariots.  And his servant said to him,  “Alas, my master!  What shall we do?”  So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them,” And Elisha prayed and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. Sermon: Ecclesiastes 5:18-20 18 Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. 19 As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God. 20 For he will not dwell unduly on the days of his life, because God keeps him busy with the joy of his heart. Godliness with Contentment is Great Gain

Listen to the sermon: 1 Timothy 6:6-12 6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 11 But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. 12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called.  Godliness with Contentment is Great Gain
