The Mysteries Of Life

The Sermon: Ecclesiastes 8: 2,4-8,12 & 17
Obey the King’s command…. Do not be hasty to leave the King’s presence. Since the King’s Word is supreme, who can say to Him, “What are you doing?” Whoever follows His Word will come to no harm, for there is a proper time and procedure for every matter. Since no man knows the future, who can tell Him what is to come? No man has power to retain his spirit, no one has power over the day of his death…. Then I saw all that God has done. No one can comprehend what goes on under the sun. Despite all his efforts to search it out, man cannot discover its meaning….. I know that it will go better with God-fearing men, who are reverent before God.

The Mysteries Of Life

  1. Are Known To God And Revealed To Us As He Wills
  2. Are Accepted In Faith By God’s Children
  3. Unfold Under Our King’s Rule And Loving Care

God’s Words and Ways Higher Than Ours!

The Apostles Creed (Inside Back Cover Of Hymnal)

I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; The third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven And sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me,
Cast me not away from Thy presence; and take not Thy Holy Spirit from me.
Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with Thy free spirit.
