The Responsive Reading Of Psalm 66 Excerpts

P: Shout with joy to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the glory of His Name; Bring Him glory and praise!
C: Say to God, “How awesome are Your works! So great is Your power that all Your enemies cringe before You. All the earth bows down to You; They sing praise to You and to Your Name.

P: Come and see what God has done, how wonderful His works in man’s behalf! He rules forever by His power, His eyes watch over the nations.

C: Praise our God, you peoples! Let the sound of His praise be heard. For He has preserved our lives and kept our feet from slipping.

Sing: Glory be to God the Father, Glory be to God the Son,
Glory be to God the Spirit: Great Jehovah, Three In One!
Glory, Glory, While eternal ages run!

Glory be to Him Who lived us, washed us from each spot and stain;
Glory be to Him Who bought us, Made us Kings with Him to reign!
Glory, Glory to The Lamb that once was slain.

P: I will enter Your temple with burnt offerings and fulfill my vows to You I will sacrifice and bring my gifts to You. Come and listen, all you who fear the Lord; Let me tell you what He has done for me.
C: I. cried out to Him with my mouth; His praise was on my tongue. Praise be to God who has not rejected my prayer or withheld His love from me.

Sing: Glory, blessing, praise eternal! Thus the choir of angels sings;
Honor, riches, pow’r, dominion! Thus its praise creation brings.
Glory, Glory Glory to the King of kings!

The Scripture Reading – Isaiah 12: 1 – 6
If this Scripture sounds familiar it is because our children and choir put its words to powerful praise music last Sunday. Especially note the connection between hearts which truly understand and appreciate what the Lord has delivered them from – and hearts filled with praise and song for the God of their salvation.
