Berea Lutheran Church is a member of the Church of the Lutheran Confession (CLC), which is a confessional Lutheran church body which is dedicated to proclaiming the Good News of Christ crucified for sinners. All of the CLC member churches confess that the Bible is the inspired and unerring Word of God. The name of our church body is a witness to what we believe; it is a continual reminder of our responsibility to be truly Lutheran, and therefore Scriptural in our teaching and in our practice.

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,”
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
