Our Confession Of Sins
P: God invites us to come into His Presence and worship Him with humble and
penitent hearts. Therefore, let us confess our sinfulness and seek His
forgiveness at the foot of the cross of Christ.
C: Holy and merciful Father, I confess that I am by nature sinful, and
that I have disobeyed You in my thoughts, words and actions. I have done
what is evil and failed to do what is good. For this I deserve Your punish-
ment both now and in eternity. But I am truly sorry for my sins, and
trusting in my Savior, Jesus Christ, I pray: Lord have mercy on me, a
sinner.
P: God,our heavenly Father, has been merciful to us and has given His only Son
to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. Therefore, as a called servant of
Christ and by His authority, I forgive you all your sins in the name of the
Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Apostles Creed
I believe in God the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; And in
Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost,
born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified,dead and buried; He descended into hell; The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father
almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the quick & the dead. I believe
in the Holy Ghost, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting.
Amen.
Hymn 507 – “Spread, O Spread, Thou Mighty Word”
The Sermon ………………………………………………………………….. Luke 10 : 1 – 9
After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent
them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Him-
self was about to go. Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but
the laborers are few; Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Go your way; Behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. Carry neither money bag, sack nor sandals, and greet no
one along the road. But whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; If not, it
will return to you. And remain in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. Whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat such
things as are set before you. And heal the sick who are there, and say to
them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.”
PRAY THE LORD OF THE HARVEST TO
SEND FORTH LABORERS INTO THE HARVEST

Our Father Who art in heaven, Hallowed by Thy Name; Thy Kingdom
come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven; Give us this day our daily

Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen.
