The Invocation And Confession Of Sins
C: Merciful Father, we have erred and strayed fromYour ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the desires of our own hearts. We have been faulty in the performance of Your will. Many indeed are the things we ought to have done and did not do; Many the things we have done wrong. Be merciful unto us, most gracious Lord. Restore the penitent, O God, according to Your promises declared to mankind in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Empower us by the Holy Spirit that we may live godly and righteous lives of faithful service, to the glory of Your holy Name. Amen.

The Apostles Creed
I believe in God the Father almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven And sitteth on the right hand of God the Father almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; The holy Christian church, the communion of saints; The forgiveness of sins; The resurrection of the body; And the life everlasting. Amen.
The Sermon ……………………….. Revelation 2: 8 – 11
To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of Him Who is the First and the Last, Who died and came to life again. I know your afflictions and your poverty – yet you are rich! I know the slander of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of your in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life. He who has an ear, let him hear what theSpirit says to the churches. He who overcomes will not be hurt by the second death.”
